Are skin boosters the same as fillers?
No. Fillers are designed to add volume and shape to specific areas. Skin boosters spread through the skin to improve hydration, texture and glow, so your features stay exactly the same, just fresher.
Does it hurt?
Most clients find skin boosters very comfortable. Numbing cream is available, and treatments like Profhilo and babyGLOW use only a small number of injection points.
How long do results last?
Results typically last around four to six months after your initial course. Regular maintenance sessions help keep your skin hydrated and glowing all year round.
Can I have a skin booster before an event?
Yes, but plan ahead. We recommend booking at least two weeks before a special occasion so any small bumps have settled and your glow is at its best.
Who is suitable?
Skin boosters suit most adults and skin types. They're not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have an active skin infection in the treatment area. Izzi will check your suitability at consultation.
