Polynucleotides
Repair your skin from within.
Regenerative injectables that help your skin repair itself, for stronger, healthier skin that still looks completely like you.
What are polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides (often shortened to PN) are purified fragments of DNA, usually derived from salmon or salmon trout. Their structure is highly compatible with human tissue, which is why they are so well tolerated.
Once placed in the skin, polynucleotides act as a signal to your own cells. They support the fibroblasts that produce collagen and elastin, help the skin hold on to moisture and calm inflammation. Over a course of treatments, skin becomes thicker, firmer, smoother and more even in tone.
Polynucleotides are not a filler and do not change the shape of your face. They are a skin-quality treatment, ideal if you want to look well rested and healthy rather than "done".
Polynucleotides can help with:
- Crêpey skin, fine lines and dark circles under the eyes
- Dull, dehydrated or tired-looking skin
- Loss of firmness and elasticity
- Acne scarring and uneven texture
- Redness and sensitive skin
- Crêpiness on the neck and décolletage

Your questions answered.
Are polynucleotides the same as fillers?
No. Fillers add volume and change shape. Polynucleotides work on the quality of your skin, helping it repair, strengthen and hydrate itself. They won't change your features, which is why results look so natural.
Does it hurt?
We apply numbing cream beforehand, so most people find it very manageable. You'll feel a series of small scratches, and the treatment is over quickly.
How many sessions will I need?
We usually recommend a course of three treatments spaced a few weeks apart, followed by a maintenance session every six to nine months to keep your skin at its best.
When will I see results?
Many clients notice their skin looks fresher and more hydrated within a few weeks of the first session. Because polynucleotides work with your skin's natural renewal, the best results build gradually over the course.
Is it suitable for everyone?
Polynucleotides suit most skin types, but they are not suitable if you have a fish or salmon allergy, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an active skin infection in the treatment area. Izzi will go through your medical history fully at consultation.
Can I combine polynucleotides with other treatments?
Yes. They pair beautifully with skin boosters, anti-wrinkle injections and our laser treatments. Our Tired Eyes Duo package combines Rejuran with a clinical-grade eye cream for even better results.
How does the consultation work?
Your consultation with Izzi costs £50 and is fully redeemable against your treatment. She'll assess your skin, talk through your goals and medical history, and recommend the right treatment or combination for you. There's never any pressure to book on the day.
